Where?
Your portrait session can take place anywhere that feels like you - whether that’s the comfort of your own home, a favourite park, or along one of Sydney’s beautiful beaches.
I can assist you to choose a setting where your family can relax and connect; a place where you can enjoy being with one another.
When?
The light is most flattering early in the morning or in the late afternoon. If you have young children, a morning session time before 9am is probably the best. For teens, late in the afternoon from 4pm on generally suits their rhythm better. Appointments can be rescheduled if there is rain forecast.
What to wear?
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in what you wear. Choose clothing that reflects your family’s personality while keeping the focus on connection, not outfits.
Soft, neutral tones and simple textures photograph beautifully. Avoid bold patterns, logos, or large prints, as they can draw attention away from your faces and the natural emotion between you.
What does the session fee include?
A session fee of $195 for up to one hour of photography, travel to your chosen location and detailed retouching. This is a non-refundable retainer to confirm your booking and reserve your date.
This fee does not include products, prints, or digital images, which are purchased separately.
Are there minimum orders?
No - there’s no obligation or minimum order required. I want you to invest only in the images you want.
That said, most families find it difficult to choose just a few, which is always the best kind of problem to have.
