Every session begins with a conversation and a walk, your children finding their own rhythm, your family natural and unguarded.
I move quietly around you, watching for the moments that happen between the posed ones. Those are the photographs that last.
Before your session
Where
Choose a place wherever your family feels most at ease. Your own garden, a park your children know by heart, a beach you return to every summer.
When
Early morning or late afternoon light is the most beautiful. Before 9am works best for young children; from 4pm suits older children and teenagers.
Wear
Dress your family as you would for a relaxed birthday lunch. Nothing too formal, nothing too precious. Soft, neutral tones and simple textures photograph beautifully together. Avoid bold patterns or logos as they draw the eye away from the connections between you.

A session with me is unhurried and quietly led. Close enough to see everything, unobtrusive enough that your children forget the camera is present.
